Install Web Link Robot

 In order to make Web Link Robot run successfully, users need change below settings in Internet Explorer:

  • In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, click the Security tab. Select "Internet" in "Select a zone...". Click Custom Level and scroll down about half way to "Display mixed content" in the Miscellaneous section. Change it from Prompt to Enable. Click OK.
  • In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, click General tab.  click on Settings button in Browsing history section. Click on "Every time I visit the webpage" radio button. Click OK.
  • In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, select Advanced tab. Scroll down, and make sure that both of these options are checked: Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable Script Debugging (Other). Then, click OK.

 

Follow below instructions to install the software.

  • Once you download the zip file, first unzip it, you will get a file named setup.exe. 
  • Double click the Setup Launcher, Setup.exe, to start installation.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen to choose the options for the installation.
  • Once the installation is done, you will see the shortcuts for Web Link Robot on your desktop screen.

*** Note that, for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users, Web Link Robot should be launched as an administrator:

  1. Locate Web Link Robot. By default, it should be in the folder "C:\Program Files\Web Link Robot" (or similar folder, depends on your operating system).
  2. Right click the program icon and choose the properties option.
  3. Select the compatibility tab, under privilege level, check the box to run this program as administrator.

*** Note that, Web Link Robot can be installed on different computers, however, one account only allows one login from one computer. If an user has to use it on different computers with the same account, then the user will have to wait for some hours.

 

Uninstall Web Link Robot

  • Go to Control Panel of your PC, click "Add or Remove Programs".
  • Find 'Web Link Robot".
  • Click "Uninstall" and follow the instructions to uninstall.
