Users need fill in all the information to register the accounts.

In order to use the Confirm Registration feature, Email Pop3 information has to be filled. Users should be able to get their own email pop3 information from their email service provider.

Note that,

Users can manually confirm their registration on web 2.0 sites, do not have to use Confirm Registration feature. If so, the Email Pop3 information is not needed.

If used gmail, for google service related sites (i.e. blogger), the user password has to be your gmail's password. And on some sites, gmail may not be accepted for registration.
